Community Safety Alert – Please Remain Vigilant

Dear Residents,

We would like to make residents aware that there have been a few reported burglaries in the surrounding area recently.

While these incidents are being addressed by local authorities, we encourage everyone to remain vigilant and take extra precautions to help protect their homes and belongings. Please ensure that all doors and windows are securely locked whenever you leave your property and before going to bed. Report any suspicious activity to the police immediately.

How to Protect Your Home from Burglaries:

Always lock all doors and windows, even when you are at home.

Keep valuables out of sight from windows and entryways.

Ensure exterior lighting is working and consider motion-sensor lights.

Avoid advertising vacations or extended absences on social media.

Use timers on lights when away from home to create the appearance of occupancy.

Keep gates, sheds, and garages locked.

Consider installing a security alarm or video doorbell system.

Get to know your neighbours and look out for one another.

Working together as a community can help deter criminal activity and keep our neighbourhood safe.

Thank you for your cooperation and vigilance.
